- Drive excellence, operational improvements and long-term sustainability of European research infrastructures and core facilities by designing and delivering short-cycle Continuous Professional Development courses (CPDs) for current and potential leaders.
- Create a foundation for the long-term provision of highly qualified personnel for managing research infrastructures, core facilities and other complex scientific operations in academia and industry.
- Establish a European School for Management of Research Infrastructures (ESMRI)
Future European School for RI management
RItrainPlus will transform the access and empowerment of human resources for national and international scientific facilities in Europe:
“The idea is to give students the opportunity to broaden their existing study programs in order to prepare them for different managerial tasks in Research Infrastructures. The ultimate goal is to set up a European School for RI man-
agement”, says Marialuisa Lavitrano, the leader of the RItrainPlus project.
